Last night, in New York, Novak Djokovic visited the Lacoste boutique at Macy’s Herald Square to celebrate the launch of Lacoste’s new Fall/Winter 2018 Novak Djokovic collection. Djokovic took pictures with his fans, and also spent time with kids from the CityParks’ Foundation Tennis Academy. These students had won the chance to meet him by writing essays about a time they had faced adversity in their lives.. This was Djokovic’s first appearance in the United Stafes for Lacoste. In 2017, he was named Lacoste’s “new crocodile,” after Rene Lacoste and he now represents the brand on and off the court.

According to the Post and Courier, Lacoste will be closing down their only South Carolina retail location. The store in Charleston will close on January 25th, 10 years after it opened. This means the nearest Lacoste store for Charleston residents is in North Carolina. That’s quite the drive!
I was visiting Singapore last week, and while waiting for my flight at Changi Airport did some shopping. That’s when I discovered that there is a Lacoste Store in the Terminal 3 Shopping area. I took a couple of pictures there, which I’ve included in this post.
Overall, it was pretty much like any other Lacoste store, except for a greater amount of embroidered crocodile items than I’ve seen at American stores.
