Lacoste And Goop Release A Royal Tenenbaum’s Inspired Collaboration

Lacoste and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand have released a collaboration inspired by Paltrow’s Royal Tenenbaum’s character Margot Tenenbaum’s striped Lacoste dress. Refinery 29 writes:

If you ever wondered what Gwyneth Paltrow’s Royal Tenenbaums character, Margot Tenenbaum, would wear today, you’re in luck. The actor’s lifestyle brand, Goop, and sports-inspired fashion label Lacoste have partnered for a collection referencing the Wes Andersonfilm.
On Tuesday, the two announced a collaboration, which includes a range of styles paying tribute to the Lacoste striped polo dress famously worn by Paltrow in the 2001 comedy. The result is a capsule that combines tenniscore and preppy aesthetics. In addition to featuring a frock similar to Paltrow’s film look, the line includes a retro-inspired jumpsuit with puffed sleeves, a knit polo set, and court-ready mini skirts.

The collection is available online, at select Goop stores and at flagship Lacoste locations.

Samsung and Lacoste Collaborate on Flip Phone Cases

Lacoste and Samsung have collaborated to create an eco-friendly, Lacoste branded case for the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4. Sammobile has the details:

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is one of the most fashionable smartphones created in recent times, and it provides an opportunity for Samsung to collaborate with different fashion brands. After revealing the Maison Margiela Edition, the company has now announced the launch of four new protective cases for the Galaxy Z Flip 4, created in an exclusive partnership with Lacoste.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 cases by Lacoste are available in four colors: Graphite, Blue, Lavender, and Rose Gold. The cases carry a subtle yet recognizable Lacoste crocodile logo. They were made from recycled materials, and the same goes for their packaging, which was made entirely from recycled cardboard, vegetable ink, and vegetable glue.

ScreenRant also has coverage:

According to their listing page on the official Samsung website, the two-piece silicone cases will offer protection against bumps and scratches while being thin and flexible enough to provide a comfortable grip. They are available in four solid colors, including Graphite, Blue, Lavender and Rose Gold, and carry a prominent Lacoste crocodile logo at the back.

For now, it only seems to be available in France, but hopefully it will be in more countries soon.

Ralph Lauren Teams Up With Fortnite

Esquire has all the details on Ralph Lauren’s team-up with Fortnite that includes real world Fortnite branded Ralph Lauren polo shirts and an in-game tournament:

To the delight of Epic Games (and whoever they bank with), Fortnite is still a thing. A huge thing. And its enduring appeal has got much to do with the video game’s myriad collaborations with high-profile hitters in every field, fashion included. Right now, it’s Fortnite x Polo Ralph Lauren keeping the fire ablaze.

On Wednesday 2 November, the collaboration launched with a drop of IRL pieces, namely a polo shirt and a cap – both unisex, both available in white and ‘newport navy’, both distinguishable by a reworked Polo Pony logo (here a Polo Supply Llama).
